The Price of Business Digital Network has a new series of outstanding commentaries from thought leaders. This is one in that series.
Mike Kelly
It’s very difficult to lead anyone if a leader is unable to lead him or herself. Effective leaders have learned to lead themselves well and this enables them to positively impact the lives of others. Leading self starts with assessing your current conditioning through feedback from those you love, lead, and serve. Then, developing a plan to change and move forward in an intentional way. This often encompasses establishing a relevant mission statement aligned with your purpose, determining your priorities, and setting goals. This should be followed by acting on the goals.
“He that would govern others, first should be master of himself.”
